Yes, I use ALL_LOCAL_DRIVES as my backup selection entry. The policy type is FlashBackup-Windows. The "virtual machine backup" is set to "3-FullVM and file for incremental"

Here is a resolution. In my case the problem was at the Local Area Network layer. Routers ware closing TCP/IP sessions after few seconds after the first FIN flag was sent.

Hi Logs are not truncated while backing up to tape. When I do a backup to a disk, exchange logs are trancated. All backup jobs are performed using the same backup policy. Do you have any idea?

As far as I know, the option "backup passive ..." works when you use snapshot (VSS) backup of Exchange server. When you use standard stream backup, the option "backup passive ..." is ignored by NetBackup and backup reads data ...
