Hello,
My name is Kyle Schroeder and I'm one of the Symantec Trusted Advisors here on Connect.  I live outside St. Louis, MO with my wife, 8 year old daughter and 1 year old son.  I started using Altiris first in 2003 or so when we deployed Inventory Solution 5.x to all our workstations.  Later in 2004 I joined the team that managed what Altiris infrastructure we had (just a NS 5.5 server) and was tasked with implementing Recovery Solution.  A nice success story when the first production recovery we did was for the head of our NA Infrastructure team!  In 2005 we purchased Altiris CMS/SMS-1 and AMS-2 and I was one of the principle implementors of our global Altiris infrastructure.  Today I still provide primary support for our Notification Server/CMS environment and Recovery infrastructure, along with most any Solution (excluding Asset) running on our NSes. 

In 2006, I was invited to join the "Altiris Forum Advisors" program on the old Altiris forums (http://forums.altiris.com) after months of being an active contributor to that community. The program was very similar to and the inspiration for the Trusted Advisors program here on Connect. I'm just getting my feet wet with Altiris 7, so bear with me!
