I agree there is difference with stand-alone SVS installation and SVS installations to managed computers (that has Altiris Agent). Also true that SVS does not have inventory mechanism. But it does integrate to NS little bit differently than ...

Inventory Solution is not smart enough to not record virtualised .exe file twice if layer is active. It is buggy enough that it only inventories .exe once if .exe exists on multiple directories. Old known issue with Inventory solution ...
