For those of you waiting desperately to hear, I work in ITS (Information Technology Services) at the University of Northern Iowa. Specifically, our central ITS is split into smaller departments, and I work in Network Services, commonly know as ITS-NS. My title here is "IT Security Policy and Risk Assessment Analyst." My title is so long that it often doesn't fit into many of the computer systems here, so "Analyst" ends up getting cut off. I am one of a handful of people focused on securing campus electronic systems, better known as the "Security Office." We provide assistance and information to all members of the UNI community seeking assistance in making computing more secure.
