Maybe try increasing the disk space that LU can use. Inside the Liveupdate Configuration Window increase the "Maximum disk space used to store update".

Download the free Trojan Remover application from Simply Super Software or the app from Malwarebytes "Anti-malware" app and do full scans. They will prompt you to update right after install.

Personally, I'd start the machines in safe mode and check the registry thoroughly for load points. Maybe even try a scan with Trojan Remover.

the virus that attacked ur comp must have come from an unsafe site that u must have visited,the virus entered ur system n SEP did not catch it as it was an unknown virus for symantec's team n particular update was created for dat virus.
