I have a similar problem with BackupExec 2010 R2 and Exchange 2010 SP1 with Update Rollup 1. It started after I applied SP1. Update rollup 1 didn't help either. anyone else?

I am having the same issues. I am also running BackupExec 2010 R2 trying to backup Exchange 2010 SP1. My exchange is a vm on vmware. Backups were fine until after Exchange 2010 SP1.

i've been having problems with this too. the only solution i have found so far is to install the agent manuall on each 2008 R2 system... but then... mine won't update... i can't patch it remotely or locally.

i still have problems updating the agents on 2008 R2 with any updates... support for R2 doesn't seem like support at all at this point...

I mean with it already built into the installer, not as a separate msp file. Thats the part that fails to install.

I installed the RAWS from the Backup Exex/Agents/RAWSx64/ directory. I did all those steps and still the same result.

i stopped the "backup exec remote agent for windows servers" service and it still did the same thing... are there other services? Thanks
