Clustered NFS on DAS Storage
In the previous video introducing Flexible Storage Sharing within Storage Foundation Cluster File System 6.1, we discussed the technology, drivers, and differences between using shared SAN storage and internal or DAS storage in a CFS configuration.
In this video we walk step by step to create a Clustered NFS configuration using internal SSD drives in a VMWare environment. In less than 5 minutes, we can set-up a 2-Node cluster, create an NFS share, and mount that share on a client. This is done all without external storage configured, with full data and application redundancy, and the performance of internal SSD.
