Symantec single video player.

This demo, created by the Storage and Availability Management Group Install team,  shows how to configure I/O fencing in disabled mode in Veritas Cluster Server using the Web installer.

Thakns for the video Mr. Qing

Thakns for the video Mr. Qing Feng.

My question, on 2:36 there is a pop up window saying

"Installer will stop VCS before applying fencing
configuration. To make sure VCS shuts down
successfully, unfreeze any frozen service group and
unmount the mounted file systems in the cluster."

Will this process shutdown the application under cluster control?

Because I have a plan to deconfigure fencing on production cluster, and I am afraid that this process will need application be shutdown first before disabling the fencing

  Hi Mr. Andi Santosa, When

Hi Mr. Andi Santosa, When you stop VCS, it  will offline the applications that VCS controlled, so this operation will affect applications under cluster.
