In this screencast, Steve Sundstrom, Symantec Technical Director, demonstrates upgrading Storage Foundation and High Availability Solutions 5.0MP3 on Solaris 9 to Storage Foundation and High Availability 5.1 on Solaris 10 using Live Upgrade. The demo installs Veritas Storage Foundation and High Availability Solutions, however, Live Upgrade installation of any Storage Foundation and High Availability Solutions product can be performed. Live Upgrade can also be used to either upgrade the Solaris operating system or Storage Foundation and High Availability Solutions product independently on the alternate boot drive.
