Hi Chetan,
we are trying to configure SSIM 4.8 along with SEPM - Embedded Database. Any guidance on how this is achieveable. We need a read only access to the Embedded Database. Any help would be highly appreciated.
Hi,
I tried to search but couldn't find specific info about it.
You can create limited administrator in the SEPM but not sure about SSIM 4.8.
Need to check with SSIM team.
You can ask query at SSIM forum: https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/security/forums/symantec-security-information-manager

I am also having the same issues with the SEP collector and an embedded database for the SEPM. SSIM 4.8 using the SEP event collector 5.0 on a SEP 12.1 server. I have the event agent and collector installed, but do not know how to create a read online database account. I have tried to use dbisqlc.exe, but the instructions in the collector pdf do not match the functionality of dbisqlc.exe....
