This video is a 24:17 minute video that describes how to use System Provisioning using the imagimg technology in CMS7/SMS7.
The solution includes some key features and concepts which are Personality or Profile Migration, Image Deployment to a existing remote system, and Image Deployment to a bare metal system.
Combining these features and options provides a rich suite for system provisioing and migration.

Is the image captured can be used for any system? I wanted to know if you sysprep an image is that means I can use it on any platform of pcs or laptops. I am used to DS 6.9 and not accustomed to syspreping and how it works properly.
Any feed back will be apreciated.
How do you set the computer name? We used to do this with the %NAME% token in 6.9 and then update the tokenized unattend.xml file.
We set the above configuration.
The client machine reboots through PXE Server and it popups the above task window to select.
Once we select the Erase Disk it says that "Erase Disk has started and it takes few minutes.... ", but after some time (1 or 2 hrs) the client machine will have the same state and the task is not executing. This "Erase Disk" task is working fine for the known computer.
Please let me know what to do for this?
