There are several reasons of status 5. post at least Activity Monitor result and I think you should create a new discussion post.

Alamgeer Khan and Zahid.Haseeb are correct there could be a lot of reasons for a restore failing with status code 5.

I have faced few and want to share:

  1. If you specify incorrect path for the destination directory.
  2. If the file system doesn’t contains enough space.
  3. If you started the restore and suspended it (In case you have ordered some media from offsite), a log file would be created under /usr/openv/netbackup/logs/user_ops/<Your user name>/logs and it gets deleted in 2 or 3 days. Now if you resume the restore after 2 or 3 days it would fail with status code 5.

Please share you resolution.

Hi,

In addition, I'm also sharing small videos.

All of them are available from this link:

http://connect.distrilogie.com/nbuvideos/

Note that VMware and SQL ones have recently been published on connect (sort by recent ones):

Hope this could help other guys.

Regards

Bernard
