Firefox and addons, can they be virtualized together? Yes they can. Watch this video demonstration and see how it can be done. Quick and easy!

Very cool, where do you find the add-on files?
I think that's a really cool approach to virtualizing Firefox with the add-ons as I've wondered about that before. I saw where you had the files collected, but where are the files located (I know how to download and install addons, but not where the files are kept by firefox after downloading)?
It is simpler than you think :)
Use Internet Explorer to download the addons from here: Firefox Addons
And save them anywhere you would like to.

Vista(aaargh!)
Great tutorial. However, I find that when I try to do this in Vista, even though I followed your instructions perfectly and made sure I ticked "run firefox" SVS stops running after I tell firefox not to import bookmarks. tried a few different ways, but I cannot get Firefox to run after install while being virtualized!
Is there an alternative way or can I do this in XP and then load the VM'd app in Vista?
Try This....
Have a look at this tutorial, should give you the genaral idea.
