When replicating packages via Hierarchy or stand-alone replication rules will it replicate the package files and snapshot.xml files as well?

Answer
No, the snapshot and package files stay at the source NS, only the
item and data representing the resource is sent. The data representing the resource is what would be obtained if exporting the package to XML.
