Following are the release schedules of the protection contents: 

File-based(Antivirus):

Antivirus Protection contents are generally updated daily:

Monday - Thursday (Thrice): Anchor: 06:00 am -- MDD1: 12:00 pm -- MDD2: 07:00 pm -- PST Hrs.
Friday (Twice): Anchor: 06:00 am -- MDD1: 12:00 pm PST Hrs.
Weekends (Sat & Sun) Once - Anchor: 10:00 am PST Hrs.

Proactive Threat Protection(SONAR): 

Behavioral Based Protection contents are generally updated between Monday -- Thursday -- 01:00 pm PST Hrs.
No releases are scheduled for weekends or Public holidays in the United States.

Network-Based Protection (IPS):

SEP Security Updates (SU) are generally updated on weekdays Monday -- Friday - 02:00 pm PST Hrs.
No releases are scheduled for weekends or Public holidays in the United States.

Reputation (Download Protection): 

Continually updated as it is a cloud-based detection.
