City of Big Bear Lake

The City of Big Bear Lake, California, learned the importance of data protection the hard way: A critical system failed, and recovery of the data cost $25,000. To expand the scope of the city’s backups from one file server once a week to nightly backups of all 18 of its servers, the city turned to Symantec and partner Advanced Internet Security. In the ensuing three years, the city has lost no more data.
