- Course Cancellation and Rescheduling Policies
- Symantec Education Reservation Policy
Once You reserve space on a Symantec Non-Web Based Training Course, Symantec will hold Your reservation(s) for a period of 48 hours. Payment for all reserved Non-Web Based Training Courses is due prior to the expiration of this 48 hour period. Unfortunately, due to course scheduling constraints, reservations for which payment is not received within such 48 hour period will be canceled without notice.
- Symantec Education Cancellation/Rescheduling Policy
If for any reason You wish to cancel or reschedule a Non-Web Based Training Course for which You have already paid Symantec, Your request to cancel or reschedule must be received by Symantec at least ten (10) business days prior to the start date for the scheduled Non-Web Based Training Course for which You registered. For cancellation or rescheduling requests received less than ten (10) business days prior to the start date for the scheduled non-web based training course, no refund will be granted and all fees attributable to such Non-Web Based Training Courses will be due in full.
- Refunds for Symantec's Cancellation or Rescheduling of a Symantec Training Course
In the event Symantec cancels or reschedules a Non-Web Based Training Course, You will be notified of such cancellation or rescheduling by Symantec. Once notified You may request a refund or You may reschedule Your attendance in accordance with Symantec’s standard policies in effect at the time. In no event will Symantec be liable for any travel and living costs and expenses in the event of a Non-Web Based Training Course cancellation or rescheduling.
- Changes to Training Course Orders
If You request a change in your original course election, Symantec will make reasonable efforts to accommodate a requested change in course election provided such written request is received at least ten (10) business days prior to the originally scheduled course start date. Under no circumstances will Symantec be liable to You if Symantec is unable to accommodate Your requested change in course election.
- Compliance Policy
You agree not to export or re-export any of the Course Materials in violation of U.S. export laws and regulations.

- Instructor-Led Training Days
SYMANTEC INSTRUCTOR-LED TRAINING DAYS: Each Symantec Corporation (“Symantec”) Education Instructor-Led Training Day (“Training Day”) entitles the individual or organization purchasing the Training Day (“Training Day Holder”, “You” or “Your”) to attend Symantec standard training as provided in Symantec’s then-current in-country standard education catalog in effect at the time the Training Day Holder registers for training or custom training. Privileges apply only to individual employees or independent contractors of the Training Day Holder while he/she is employed by the Training Day Holder. Training Day Holders should contact their Symantec Education Account Manager in order to register for Symantec standard training using a Training Day. Training Day holders will be required to identify himself/herself as an authorized Training Day Holder in order to register for Symantec training using a previously purchased Training Day.
Training Days are valid for use at any Authorized Symantec regional training center location in the country for which Training Days were purchased. Symantec Education Training Days may not be used to purchase eLearning CD's, web-based training, webcasts, or eLearning site licenses. The Training Day Holder shall be responsible for all travel or out-of-pocket expenses incurred by its personnel in attending Training Days or any other Symantec education courses.
TRAINING COURSES – DELIVERY OPTIONS: Symantec Education currently delivers its standard training courses based on four (4) different delivery models: 1) Open Enrollment, 2) Dedicated training, 3) Mobile training and 4) Onsite training. Open Enrollment offers training for Training Day Holders at an Authorized Symantec regional training center. Similar to Open Enrollment, Dedicated training is offered at Authorized Symantec regional training centers, except that with Dedicated training, the training facility is dedicated solely to a Training Day Holder’s employees. Mobile training offers training at a site selected by the Training Day Holder, with Symantec providing the instructors, software, course materials, computers and connectivity necessary to conduct the training at the site selected by the Training Day Holder. Onsite training is offered by Symantec’s instructors to Training Day Holders at their sites, using Training Day Holder equipment and facilities.
DELIVERY OPTION COSTS –CONVERSION FACTORS FOR EXCHANGES IN TYPE OF ELECTED TRAINING DELIVERY OPTION: The Training Day Holder may use Training Days to acquire Symantec education courses at the values specified in Symantec’s then-current in-country standard education services catalog provided, that the value of any course ordered by the Training Day Holder shall be no greater than the number of unused Training Days available. Open Enrollment is offered to Training Day Holders as a standard priced training delivery option with a one (1) to one (1) conversion rate for Open Enrollment Training days for Training Days. Specifically, one (1) Open Enrollment Training Day is equivalent to, and may be exchanged for one (1) Training Day. Symantec’s alternate delivery options (Mobile, Dedicated and On Site training) are all additional cost options priced in accordance with Symantec’s then current education services policy at the time an order for education services is placed with Symantec. The current conversion rate for the exchange of Mobile, Dedicated or Onsite training days for Training Days is one (1) to ten (10). Specifically, one (1) Mobile, Dedicated or Onsite day is equivalent to and may be exchanged for ten (10) Training Days. The Training Day Holder may only convert Training Days to obtain training through an alternate delivery option if the number of unused Training Days available is sufficient to cover the entire cost of an alternate delivery option.
CLASS SIZE LIMITS/MINIMUM COURSE LENGTH REQUIREMENTS: While Open Enrollment classes are limited by the size of the regional training facility and the ratio of instructors to students, the maximum number of students permitted to participate in a Mobile, Dedicated or Onsite training course is 10, 12, and 12 respectively. For Mobile, Dedicated or Onsite training courses, if class size exceeds the stated maximum number of student enrollees, and if Symantec agrees to accommodate one or more additional students above the stated maximum class size, a conversion factor will be applied to the quoted price for any additional students enrolled for the training. Please consult your Symantec training coordinator for the then current conversion factor pricing. In the event You choose to exchange Training Days for Mobile, Dedicated or Onsite training days, the minimum length of any such Mobile, Dedicated or Onsite training course shall be two (2) days.
Any employee of a Training Day Holder may use a Training Day to attend the class on behalf of the Training Day Holder, provided always that every Training Day Holder employee attending a class will be counted as using a Training Day.
CANCELLATION/RESCHEDULE POLICY: Use of Training Days shall also be subject to the then-current in-country Symantec Education Cancellation/Reschedule policy. Refer to the Symantec Education Cancellation/Reschedule policy for further information.
COURSE AVAILABILITY: All education courses and registration are subject to space availability.

- Symantec Course Materials
THIS IS A LEGAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN YOU AND SYMANTEC CORPORATION AND ITS AFFILIATED ENTITIES ("SYMANTEC").
SYMANTEC AND ITS LICENSORS AGREE TO GRANT THE RIGHT TO USE THESE SYMANTEC COURSE MATERIALS (“COURSE MATERIALS”) TO YOU (PERSONALLY AND/OR ON BEHALF OF YOUR EMPLOYER) ONLY IF YOU ACCEPT ALL THE TERMS CONTAINED IN THIS AGREEMENT. BY ACCEPTING THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, YOU ARE (1) REPRESENTING THAT YOU ARE OVER THE AGE OF 18 AND HAVE THE CAPACITY AND AUTHORITY TO BIND YOURSELF AND YOUR EMPLOYER, AS APPLICABLE, TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND (2) CONSENTING ON BEHALF OF YOURSELF AND/OR AS AN AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE OF YOUR EMPLOYER, AS APPLICABLE, TO BE BOUND BY THESE SYMANTEC TERMS AND CONDITIONS ("TERMS AND CONDITIONS"). EACH TIME YOU OR YOUR AGENT ACCESS THE COURSE MATERIALS, YOU ACCEPT, ON EACH SUCH OCCASION, THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
IF YOU DO NOT ACCEPT THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS THEN DO NOT INSTALL THE COURSE MATERIALS OR PROCEED WITH THE TRAINING.
1. RIGHT TO USE COURSE MATERIALS
Subject to your compliance with these Terms and Conditions and the payment of the applicable fees, Symantec and its licensors grant to you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, limited right (or license), without right to sublicense, to use the Course Materials solely for your personal training and education. This right is granted for one user only.
2. RESTRICTIONS ON USE OF COURSE MATERIALS
You may NOT copy, reproduce, modify, rent, lease, distribute, sell, sublicense, transfer or use in any way except for in accordance with the limited right granted herein the Course Materials or any part thereof. You may not assign this right without the prior written consent of Symantec. You agree to use the information contained in the Course Materials solely for yourself and not to disclose or make available to any person any information contained therein, except that you may discuss such information with other persons who have also rightfully received the same Symantec Course Materials from Symantec. Except for the limited right to use granted herein, all rights in and to the Course Materials, and all copies thereof, are retained by Symantec and its licensors, including, without limitation, all patent rights, copyrights, trademark rights and trade secret rights. You acknowledge and agree that the Course Materials are owned and copyrighted by Symantec and/or its licensors and are protected by U.S. copyright law and international treaties. You agree not to remove or alter any copyright or other proprietary rights notice of Symantec and/or its licensors in or on the Course Materials.
3. NO WARRANTIES
THE COURSE MATERIALS AND RELATED TRAINING SERVICES ARE PROVIDED TO YOU "AS IS". SYMANTEC AND ITS LICENSORS MAKE NO WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, AND SPECIFICALLY EXCLUDES AND DISCLAIMS ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF SATISFACTORY QUALITY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND ABSENCE OF HIDDEN DEFECTS, ANY WARRANTY OF TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTY THAT MAY ARISE BY REASON OF USAGE OF TRADE, CUSTOM OR COURSE OF DEALING.
4. VERIFICATION
You understand that Symantec may contact you, using the information provided by you, and that Symantec may verify such contact information in accordance with Symantec’s then current privacy policy. Symantec has no obligation to allow you to use the Course Materials, unless Symantec is satisfied, in its discretion, that you are a bona fide trainee, that you have paid the applicable fees for use of the Course Materials, and that the information provided by you to Symantec in registering for this Symantec training is current, accurate and complete.
5. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
IN NO EVENT SHALL SYMANTEC OR ITS LICENSORS OR ITS SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY PERSON FOR ANY COSTS OF PROCUREMENT OF SUBSTITUTE OR REPLACEMENT GOODS OR SERVICES, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF, OR CORRUPTION OF DATA, LOSS OF PRODUCTION, LOSS OF BUSINESS, LOSS OF REVENUES, LOSS OF CONTRACTS, LOSS OF GOODWILL OR ANTICIPATED SAVINGS OR WASTED MANAGEMENT AND STAFF TIME, OR ANY INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR ANY AND ALL OTHER SIMILAR DAMAGES OR LOSS EVEN IF SYMANTEC, ITS RESELLERS, SUPPLIERS OR ITS AGENTS HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. EXCEPT AS LIMITED BY APPLICABLE LAW, REGARDLESS OF THE LEGAL BASIS FOR YOUR CLAIM, SYMANTEC’S AND ITS LICENSORS’ AND ITS SUPPLIERS’ TOTAL LIABILITY UNDER THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS SHALL BE LIMITED TO DIRECT DAMAGES WHICH SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT OF FEES PAID BY YOU FOR THE COURSE MATERIALS OR SERVICES GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. THESE LIMITATIONS SHALL APPLY NOTWITHSTANDING THE FAILURE OF THE ESSENTIAL PURPOSE OF ANY LIMITED REMEDY.
6. TERMINATION
These Terms and Conditions are in effect until terminated. These Terms and Conditions, along with your right to use these Course Materials will terminate immediately and without notice if you fail to comply with your obligations under these Terms and Conditions. If these Terms and Conditions are terminated, you must immediately discontinue use of these Course Materials. Your payment obligations for the right to use the Course Materials will survive termination of these Terms and Conditions.
7. U.S. GOVERNMENT RIGHTS
The Course Materials are deemed to be “commercial computer software” and “commercial computer software documentation” as defined in FAR Section 12.212 and DFARS Section 227.7202, as applicable. Any use, modification, reproduction release, performance, display or disclosure of the Course Materials by the U.S. Government shall be solely in accordance with the terms of these Terms and Conditions.
8. COMPLIANCE WITH LAW
Each party agrees to comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations in connection with its activities under these Terms and Conditions. Without limiting the foregoing, You acknowledge that the Course Materials, including documentation and other technical data, is subject to export controls imposed by the U.S. Export Administration Act of 1979, as amended (the "Act"), and the regulations promulgated there under and other applicable foreign export control laws. You shall not export or re-export (directly or indirectly) the Course Materials except in compliance with the Act and its implementing regulations or other applicable foreign export control laws.
9. GENERAL
You agree to pay any tax assessed on the Course Materials, other than taxes based on Symantec's net income or corporate franchise tax. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, exclusive of any provisions of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for Sale of Goods, including any amendments thereto, and without regard to principles of conflicts of law. Any suits concerning these Terms and Conditions shall be brought in the federal courts for the Northern District of California or the state courts in Santa Clara County, California. These Terms and Conditions are personal and may not be assigned or assumed (including by operation of law) without Symantec’s prior written consent. In the event You misuse the Course Materials, such misuse may cause Symantec irreparable harm, and therefore Symantec shall be entitled to seek injunctive relief against You without the necessity of posting a bond. During the period these Terms and Conditions remain in effect, and for three years thereafter, Symantec has the right to verify Your compliance with these Terms and Conditions on Your premises during normal business hours and in a manner that minimizes disruption to Your business. Symantec may use an independent auditor for this purpose with Your prior approval which You will not unreasonably withhold. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions held to be unenforceable, it shall be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force. A waiver of any breach or default under these Terms and Conditions shall not constitute a waiver of any other subsequent breach or default. Unless You have entered into a separate, written and signed agreement with Symantec for the supply of the Course Materials, these Terms and Conditions are the complete and exclusive statement of the agreement between us which supersedes any proposal, prior agreement, oral or written, purchase order or similar terms issued by You, or any other communications between us in relation to the subject matter of these Terms and Conditions. Any modifications to these Terms and Conditions shall be made in writing and must be duly signed by authorized representatives of both parties or they shall be void and of no effect.
- Symantec Web Based Training Course Cancellation Policy
No cancellations or refunds will be permitted for Web Based Training Courses once activated.
- eLibrary Subscription Orders
If You have subscribed to Symantec’s eLibrary (“eLibrary Subscription”), Your eLibrary Subscription fee entitles you to one (1) year of access to the eLibrary Subscription web site, after which Your eLibrary Subscription automatically expires. Each year, thirty (30) days prior to expiration of Your eLibrary Subscription, a renewal notification will be sent to Your registered email address. Your eLibrary Subscription is licensed for the number of Users and the eLibrary Subscription level identified on Your eLibrary Subscription Certificate. Single User subscriptions are limited to the designated User identified on Your eLibrary Subscription Certificate and are non-transferable to any other individual. eLibrary Subscription levels designating a range of Users (e.g. 2-10 or 11-25) will be limited to a specific number of Users as identified in Your eLibrary Subscription Certificate. The ‘Enterprise Subscription Level’ designates an unlimited number of Users of Your organization identified in Your eLibrary Subscription Certificate who are located within the same country as described in Your eLibrary Subscription Certificate.
- Tech Center Subscription Orders
Your Tech Center subscription (“Tech Center Subscription”) fee entitles You to a one (1) year access privilege to the Tech Center Subscription web site, after which your Tech Center Subscription automatically expires. Each year, thirty (30) days prior to expiration of your Tech Center Subscription, a renewal notification will be sent to Your registered email address. Each Tech Center Subscription is licensed for a single User and is not transferable to any other User.

All Symantec education training, and Symantec materials (including, without limitation, Symantec’s eLibrary and Tech Center Subscription web sites and Non Web Based Training Courses) and class materials, including supplemental information (collectively, the "Materials"), are the sole property of Symantec, protected by the Copyright Laws of the United States (Title 17, United States Code), and the laws of other countries where the Materials are made available. Any copying, dissemination, distribution or disclosure of Materials without the written authorization of Symantec is strictly prohibited. You may not use the Materials for any purpose other than for Your own education purposes and no additional license is implied. You may not copy, transfer, lease, assign, make available for timesharing or sublicense Symantec copyrighted Materials, in whole or in part, nor modify, reproduce nor distribute the Materials electronically or otherwise. SYMANTEC PROVIDES THE MATERIALS TO YOU "AS IS" AND TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW DISCLAIMS ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, CONDITIONS, TERMS, UNDERTAKINGS OR REPRESENTATIONS, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW AND REGARDLESS OF WHETHER ANY REMEDY SET FORTH HEREIN FAILS OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE, IN NO EVENT WILL SYMANTEC BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, INDIRECT OR SIMILAR DAMAGES, INCLUDING ANY LOST PROFITS OR LOST OR CORRUPTION OF DATA ARISING OUT OF THE PROVISION OF SYMANTEC TRAINING COURSES AND MATERIALS TO YOU EVEN IF SYMANTEC HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN NO CASE SHALL SYMANTEC’S LIABILITY EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE PAID OR PAYABLE BY YOU FOR THE APPLICABLE NON WEB BASED TRAINING COURSE OR WEB BASED TRAINING COURSE.
- Integration
These Terms and Conditions, in addition to the applicable Certificate governing Your applicable purchase of education course(s), constitutes the entire agreement between You and Symantec pertaining to the subject matter hereof, and supersedes any and all written or oral agreements with respect to such subject matter. It is expressly agreed that any pre-printed terms appearing on the face or reverse side of any purchase order, acknowledgement or confirmation issued by You that are different from or in addition to the terms provided in these Terms and Conditions and / or the Certificate are not binding on the parties, even if signed and returned by Symantec.
- Governing Law
If You are located in North America or Latin America, these Terms and Conditions will be governed by the laws of the State of California, United States of America. If you are located in China, these Terms and Conditions will be governed by the laws of the Peoples Republic of China. Otherwise, these Terms and Conditions will be governed by the laws of England. Such governing laws are exclusive of any provisions of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for Sale of Goods, including any amendments thereto, and without regard to principles of conflicts of law.
- Compliance Policy & Eligibility Export Restrictions
You agree that You are not a citizen, national or resident of, and are not under the control of, the government of: Afghanistan, Cuba, Iran, Sudan, North Korea, Syria, nor any other country to which the United States has prohibited export and re-export. You will not download or otherwise export or re-export any Materials, directly or indirectly, to the above mentioned countries nor to citizens, nationals or residents of those countries. You are not listed on the United States Department of Treasury lists of Specially Designated Nationals, Specially Designated Terrorists, and Specially Designated Narcotic Traffickers, nor are You listed on the United States Department of Commerce Table of Denial Orders and / or any other federal agency of the United States or foreign government prohibited lists. You will not download or otherwise export or re-export any Materials directly or indirectly, to persons on the above mentioned lists. You will not use any Materials for, and will not allow any Materials to be used for, any purposes prohibited by United States and / or international trade laws, including, without limitation, for the development, design, manufacture or production of nuclear, chemical, missle, or biological weapons of mass destruction.

This Certificate states the terms and conditions under which Symantec training will be delivered to you. By ordering training, you acknowledge that such training is delivered subject to Symantec’s then current
Tech Center Policy
IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS, THEN YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE TRAINING FROM SYMANTEC. ACCEPTANCE OF TRAINING INDICATES YOUR AGREEMENT TO THESE TERMS.
IMPORTANT: The serial number provided with this Certificate is required to activate your subscription and access the Tech Center. This Certificate entitles the registered user to access to the Tech Center until the End Date printed on the face of this Certificate (“End Date”). Please refer to the
website and follow the instructions provided to redeem your certificate.
TECH CENTER SUBSCRIPTION: Your subscription fee entitles you to a one (1) year access privilege to the Tech Center Subscription web site, expiring on the End Date. Symantec makes commercially reasonable efforts to provide current and accurate technical support information in the Tech Center but hereby expressly disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability and fitness for purpose, with respect to any technical support information provided in the Tech Center. Your subscription is licensed for a single named User and is not transferable to any other individual.

IMPORTANT: The serial number provided with this Certificate is required to register for courses. This Certificate entitles the registered user to a specific number of days of training (“Training Days”) at a Symantec Education Training Center. Please refer to the
website and follow the instructions provided to redeem your certificate.
CORPORATE PASS: The Symantec Education Corporate Pass is valid for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of purchase (“Term”) and is non-transferable, non-refundable, and may not be combined with other discounts, offers or promotions. The Symantec Education Corporate Pass entitles Passholders to attend the number of days of training specified on the face of this Certificate.
TRAINING COURSES – DELIVERY OPTIONS: Symantec Education currently delivers its standard training courses based on four (4) different delivery models: 1) Open Enrollment, 2) Dedicated training, 3) Mobile training and 4) Onsite training. Open Enrollment offers training for Passholders at an Authorized Symantec regional training center. Similar to Open Enrollment, Dedicated training is offered at Authorized Symantec regional training centers, except that with Dedicated training, the training facility is dedicated solely to a Passholder’s employees. Mobile training offers training at a site selected by the Passholder, with Symantec providing the instructors, software, course materials, computers and connectivity necessary to conduct the training at the site selected by the Passholder. Onsite training is offered by Symantec’s instructors to Passholders at their sites, using Passholder equipment and facilities.
DELIVERY OPTION COSTS –CONVERSION FACTORS FOR EXCHANGES IN TYPE OF ELECTED TRAINING DELIVERY OPTION: Open Enrollment is offered to Passholders as a standard priced training delivery option with a one (1) to one (1) conversion rate for Open Enrollment Training days for Corporate Pass days. Specifically, one (1) Open Enrollment Training Day is equivalent to, and may be exchanged for one (1) Education Corporate Pass Day. Symantec’s alternate delivery options (Mobile, Dedicated and On Site training) are all additional cost options priced in accordance with Symantec’s then current education services policy at the time an order for education services is placed with Symantec. The current conversion rate for the exchange of Mobile, Dedicated or Onsite training days for Education Corporate Pass days is one (1) to ten (10). Specifically, one (1) Mobile, Dedicated or Onsite day is equivalent to and may be exchanged for ten (10) Education Corporate Pass days.
CLASS SIZE LIMITS/MINIMUM COURSE LENGTH REQUIREMENTS: While Open Enrollment classes are limited by the size of the regional training facility and the ratio of instructors to students, the maximum number of students permitted to participate in a Mobile, Dedicated or Onsite training course is 10, 12, and 12 respectively. For Mobile, Dedicated or Onsite training courses, if class size exceeds the stated maximum number of student enrollees, and if Symantec agrees to accommodate one or more additional students above the stated maximum class size, a conversion factor will be applied to the quoted price for any additional students enrolled for the training. Please consult your Symantec training coordinator for the then current conversion factor pricing. In the event You choose to exchange Education Corporate Pass days for Mobile, Dedicated or Onsite training days, the minimum length of any such Mobile, Dedicated or Onsite training course shall be two (2) days.
Any employee of a Passholder may use the Symantec Education Corporate Pass to attend the class on behalf of the Passholder, provided always that every Passholder employee attending a class will be counted towards the total Training Days’ value of the Pass .
TRAINING DAYS: A Training Day entitles the Passholder to attend Symantec standard training as provided in Symantec’s then-current in-country standard education catalog in effect at the time the Passholder registers for training or custom training. Privileges apply only to individual employees or independent contractors of the Passholder while he/she is employed by the Passholder. When registering for a Training Day, the Passholder must identify himself/herself by providing his/her Symantec Education Corporate Pass serial number.
Training Days are valid for use at any Authorized Symantec regional training center location in the country for which Training Days were purchased. The Symantec Education Corporate Pass may not be used to purchase eLearning CD's, web-based training, webcasts, or eLearning site licenses.
The Passholder may use Training Days to acquire Symantec education courses of equal or lesser value (as specified in Symantec’s then-current in-country standard education services catalog) to the number of unused Training Days available. The Training Days shall not be used as partial payment for any education services, e.g. if the applicable charge for an education course is greater than the unused Training Days connected with this Certificate, such Training Days may not be applied against such education course. The Passholder shall be responsible for all travel or out-of-pocket expenses incurred by its personnel in attending Training Days or any other Symantec education courses.
CANCELLATION/RESCHEDULE POLICY: Use of Training Days shall also be subject to the then-current in-country Symantec Education Cancellation/Reschedule policy. Refer to the Symantec Education Cancellation/Reschedule policy for further information.
TERMINATION OF TRAINING DAY PERIOD: At the end of the applicable Corporate Pass Term, any pre-paid, remaining unused Training Days under this Certificate shall expire and shall be forfeited. No refunds shall be provided based on any remaining, pre-paid unused Training Days. All classes must be registered and attended during the Term; provided, however, if Symantec Education cancels and reschedules a class past the “expiration date” of the Term, you may use the applicable Training Days for such class.
COURSE AVAILABILITY: All education courses and registration are subject to space availability.

The Training Days shall not be used as partial payment for any education services, e.g., if the applicable charge in Training Days for an education course is greater than the pre-paid, remaining unused Training Days connected with this Voucher, such Training Days may not be applied against the Training Days for such education course. You shall be responsible for any reimbursing any personnel for any travel or out-of-pocket expenses incurred by such personnel in attending Symantec Education courses.
