Symantec Online Backup

Symantec Online Backup is configured and managed from any internet connected system on which the Protection Agent has been installed. Users select data, configure backup processes or restore data including files, folders and directories using a browser.

Each computer that will have data backed up or restored must have the following requirements:

• Intel - based hardware
• 32-bit editions of Windows 2003 Server family, Windows 2000 Server family, Windows XP and Windows Vista
• Latest Service Packs
• 50 MB free for the Protection Agent
• Free disk space that is at least equal to 15% of the amount of data you will be backing up

For computers used to manage your account:

• Internet Explorer 6 and 7
• Cookies enabled
• JavaScript enabled
• SSL enabled
