What is Symantec's channel strategy?

Symantec continues to be a channel-led company, with the majority of our business flowing through you, our partners. We are deeply committed to providing you with market leading products, the best quality service and support, and programs to help drive profitability and improve your experience with Symantec.

What is the difference between Business/Enterprise retail boxed products and the Express Buying Program?

The retail boxed products come with a set number of user licenses (5, 10, and 25 user) where as when using the Express Buying Program you are able to purchase a flexible number of licenses above the 5 licenses minimum.  If the boxed product goes beyond it's maintenance expiration date, brand new licenses have to be purchased. With the Express Buying Program, once licenses have gone past their maintenance expiration date, Upgrade licenses can be purchased at a discounted rate.

What is the difference between Norton/Consumer products and Business/Enterprise solutions?

Norton/Consumer products are specifically designed for home use on stand-alone desktops or laptops and cannot be utilized in a server-based network (with the exceptions of Norton 360 and Internet Security 2009 which supports up to 3 household PCs and pcAnywhere which can be used in a server-based network). Business/Enterprise solutions are more comprehensive, networkable product families that provide coverage on multiple levels.
