SIX CITIES, 60 PHONES, NO PRIVACY
From coast to coast, Canadians have an insatiable appetite for other people's data.
Though 33 of the 60 phones were offered to be returned across the country, only three of those were offers from Vancouver phone finders.
Seventy per cent of Calgarians tried to return the phones, but even still, 80 per cent of devices were accessed for more than just "contacts."
Ninety per cent of Toronto users accessed private pictures and 60 per cent looked at the HR salaries application.
Eighty per cent of Ottawa users accessed social networking applications. It was the highest rate of any city.
Just five in 10 Montreal users accessed the "contacts" app, but eight in 10 clicked through to the log-in page.
Halifax users were particularly interested in the "passwords" app, with seven in 10 trying to access it.
