What are Podcasts?Podcasts are audio or video files that are distributed across the Internet via RSS, for playback on computers or digital media players. RSS feeds allow users to subscribe to the content of their choice and can be downloaded to their computer or transferred to a portable media device. The subscription feed automatically enables new content to be delivered to the end user directly (many sites will also allow for direct download of files as well). Each podcast feed is usually dedicated to delivering a specific content theme, and new content can be delivered to the end user as soon as it becomes available from the publisher.
