Cheri F. McGuire
Vice President, Global Government Affairs & Cybersecurity Policy
With more than twenty years of government and industry experience, Ms. McGuire leads Symantec's global public policy agenda and government engagement strategy that includes cybersecurity, critical infrastructure protection (CIP), and privacy. She leads a team of professionals spanning the U.S., Canada, Europe, and Asia. Ms. McGuire serves on the World Economic Forum Global Agenda Council on Cybersecurity, and on the boards of the Information Technology Industry Council, the US Information Technology Office in China, and the National Cyber Security Alliance. From 2010 to 2012, she served as Chair of the US IT Sector Coordinating Council - one of 16 critical sectors identified by the President and DHS to partner with the government on CIP and cybersecurity. Ms. McGuire is a frequent presenter on technology policy issues, including testifying numerous times before Congress. Past positions include: Director for Critical Infrastructure and Cybersecurity in Microsoft's Trustworthy Computing Group; Acting Director and Deputy Director of the DHS National Cyber Security Division and US-CERT; program manager at Booz Allen Hamilton; and Congressional staffer.

Global CIP and Privacy Advisor
Ilias Chantzos is Senior Director of Symantec’s Government Affairs programs for Europe, Middle East & Africa and Global Advisor for Critical Infrastructure and Data Protection. Prior to this role in Symantec Chantzos managed for 5 years the Government Affairs Programs for EMEA and APJ regions. Before joining Symantec in 2004, Chantzos worked in the Directorate General Information Society of the European Commission focusing on information security policy. He also represented the European Commission in various international forums.
Senior Policy Counsel, Cybersecurity and Identity
Jeff Greene serves as the Director of Government Affairs for North America and Senior Policy Counsel at Symantec, where he focuses on issues including cybersecurity, the Internet of Things, and privacy. Prior to joining Symantec, he was Senior Counsel with the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, where he focused on cybersecurity and Homeland Defense issues. He also worked on the House Committee on Homeland Security and was counsel to the Senate's Hurricane Katrina investigation. Jeff recently served as the staff co-chair of the "Internet of Things" research subcommittee of the President's National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee, and is currently serving as a Subject Matter Expert on the Big Data Analytics Subcommittee. He is also a Senior Fellow at The George Washington University Center for Cyber & Homeland Security and a Senior Advisor at the Truman National Security Project, where he is on the Steering Committee for the Cyberspace and Security Program. Jeff co-chairs the Homeland Security Committee of the American Bar Association's Section of Science & Technology Law and speaks often on cybersecurity, the "Internet of Things," data breach, and privacy issues. He has a B.A. in International Relations from Boston University and a J.D. with Honor from the University of Maryland, where he has taught classes in Homeland Security law and policy.
Director, Government Affairs, Global
Bill Wright is the Director of Cybersecurity Partnerships. He brings nearly 20 years of experience spanning the legal, policy, and operational spectrums of national security, law enforcement, and international partnerships. In addition to heading up the Norton Cybersecurity Institute program, Bill manages a number of global cybercrime and cybersecurity operational and policy partner relationships with governments and industry. Prior to joining Symantec, Bill was Staff Director and General Counsel for two U.S. Senate Subcommittees and served as the chief advisor to Senator Scott Brown for cybersecurity, national security and intelligence issues. Prior to the Senate, Bill was a Senior Operations Officer at the National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC) and held several positions at the U.S. Department of State.
Director, Federal Government Affairs
Dena Graziano serves as Director of Federal Government Affairs, where she is responsible for Symantec’s public policy development as well as political and strategic engagement with Capitol Hill. Prior to joining Symantec, Dena worked on Capitol Hill for 15 years, serving in various capacities in both the Senate and the House, including Communications Director for the House Homeland Security and Judiciary Committees, and as the Executive Assistant to the late Senator Ted Kennedy. Dena currently is a Member of the Infragard National Advisory Board.
Kai Koon Ng
Director, Government Affairs, APJ
Kai Koon Ng is Director for APJ Government Affairs. Kai Koon represents Symantec before government agencies and international organizations, advising on public policy issues, focusing on IT Security, data privacy and protection and critical infrastructure protection. He is also Vice-Chair for BSA India Country Committee with responsibility for policy matters. Prior to joining Symantec, Kai Koon was with the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA), where he was responsible for the development of Singapore's IT sector.
Director, Canadian Government Affairs
Kerry Patterson-Baker is Director for Canadian Government Affairs where she acts as a senior corporate Liaison with all levels of government in Canada. Her role focuses on cyber-security, critical infrastructure protection, identity management and privacy. Prior to joining Symantec, Kerry held senior corporate roles with TD Bank, PricewaterhouseCoopers, HP and Microsoft. She has also worked as a senior consultant with Fleishman-Hillard, where her clients included the federal Departments of Foreign Affairs, International Trade, and Industry Canada. Prior to this, Kerry spent four years on Parliament Hill as a Legislative Assistant during the Mulroney Government’s second term.
Director, Government Affairs, India
Deepak Maheshwari is the Director of Government Affairs in India and acts as the nodal point on policy, legislation and regulation in India. A graduate of engineering and law programs, he has a keen interest in the interplay of technological innovation with socio-economic development. He has also been an active influencer in the development and evolution of digital economy. An oft-invited speaker and panelist, his articles, opinions and reviews have been widely published. He has been active in several trade associations and served as the elected secretary of ISP Association of India (ISPAI) for two consecutive terms. He co-founded the National Internet eXchange of India (NIXI) and the ITU-APT Foundation of India and helped form the Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI). He has previously worked with Microsoft, Sify, MasterCard & HCL.
Senior Manager, Government Affairs, EMEA
Zoltán Précsényi is a Senior Government Affairs Manager and represents Symantec before national, EU and international government bodies in the EMEA region. His areas of expertise include cybersecurity, critical infrastructure protection, cloud computing, cybercrime, data privacy and digital trust services. He also serves as issue leader for cybersecurity in various trade associations. Before joining Symantec, Zoltán was public affairs manager for the European Aluminium Association, with a focus on European competitiveness, sustainability and industrial standardization policies. Prior to that, he was advisor to a Hungarian Member of the European Parliament, covering transatlantic relations, innovation, energy and industry policies.

Carla Baker is a Senior Government Affairs Manager, responsible for driving the company’s public policy agenda in UK and Ireland and representing Symantec before public authorities, industry associations and trade bodies. Prior to joining Symantec, Carla was a director at Intellect, leading the trade association’s Cyber Security Programme. In this role she led the development of industry-wide policy positions on specific cyber related issues, informed the development of government policy and built successful relationships with senior government officials, Minister and MPs. Before joining Intellect, Carla worked for a number of government departments, working in a variety of roles ranging from facilitating procurement contracts to shaping the development of mental health legislation.
Senior Manager, Government Affairs, Greater
John Zhao is the Senior Government Affairs Manager for the Greater China Region. Prior to Symantec, John was the Head of Government Relations at BlackBerry China. Before that, John was the Deputy GM for Canada China Business Council in Beijing, in charge of government and media relations. A native of Beijing, John is a Chapter Board Member at the Chinese Overseas-educated Scholar Association. He chairs the Cybersecurity working groups at the U.S. Information Technology Office and at Business Software Alliance.
Senior Manager, Government Affairs, EMEA
Giampiero Nanni is a Senior Government Affairs Manager and represents Symantec's public policy agenda in Italy, Spain, and countries in the Middle East and Africa, in addition to working with international organisations like ITU and OECD. Giampiero joined Symantec in 2012 and transitioned into the GA EMEA team in the summer of 2014 after working with Public Sector Strategy, EMEA. Previous appointments include Public Sector EMEA roles at Microsoft, IBM, and Cisco. At Microsoft, as Director of Marketing Public Sector EMEA, he was responsible for the EMEA editions of the Government Leaders Forum. This flagship event for policy makers featured Bill Gates as a regular speaker alongside prominent political leaders like Angela Merkel, Manuel Barroso, Gordon Brown, and Bill Clinton.
Senior Administrative Specialist
Ursula Bartlett is a Senior Administrative Specialist and Executive Assistant to Cheri McGuire in Washington, DC. Prior to joining Symantec, Ursula worked for fifteen years as an Executive Assistant and Office Manager for the City of Los Angeles Mayor’s Office of Federal Relations where she worked closely with the Deputy Mayor of Federal Relations, the Mayor of Los Angeles, and the DC staff. She holds a BA in Psychology from Ursuline College.
