Symantec helps provide Services companies with the expertise to implement, sell, support and provide education on Symantec solutions for customers worldwide. Symantec offers various programs in the areas of Consulting, Education, and Support based on a Partner's primary business model and desired partnering opportunity.

Consulting

Acceptance into the Authorized Consulting Program is based, in part, on satisfying rigorous criteria for certified resources, service delivery quality, and pre-existing services infrastructure.

Consulting Partners are able to:

  • Work together with Symantec in a Partnership designed for mutual success
  • Participate as a virtual extension of Symantec Services, providing professional consulting and implementation services to our Customers
  • Expand their services portfolio to offer customers a complete solution to their availability and security challenges
  • Foster customer awareness by leveraging the strength of the Symantec brand and Symantec position as the storage and security industry leader
  • Seize the competitive edge by developing and integrating new service offerings to meet the most sophisticated and complex customer needs
  • Lead with Symantec solutions

Education

To ensure the best strategic fit for Symantec and the organization, it is expected that Education Partners demonstrate that training and education is a strategic business objective and competency within their organization.

Education Partners can benefit from:

Support

Support Partners are required to be in good standing with Symantec. They must be sponsored for membership by a sales representative, pass specific support call center criteria and maintain a renewals infrastructure.

Following a Partner's acceptance into the program, their technical support engineers will be support readiness trained in the products they support, in order to provide world class support.
