Release Summary
- 64-bit OS: DS Server is supported on 64-bit OS, including WS2K8, featuring the advantage of having a 64-bit hardware/64-bit OS/MS SQL 2008 combination.
- Ghost Inclusion: Ghost Imaging Foundation is included and integrated. The DS Console offers options to take advantage of DeployAnywhere and other Ghost capabilities.
- Security/Safety: All security-related hot-fixes are rolled in. New features reduce the chances of users error while using the Console.

- Deployment Solution Server is supported on 64-bit OS, including WS2K8.

- DAgent Supported on Windows XP & 2003 – Remote agent install for Windows XP & 2003 defaults to DAgent.
- Basic Remote Control in DAgent – The feature applies to Windows XP, 2003, and Vista.
- Integration of Ghost Technology – DS 6.9 SP1 now includes the Ghost binaries to image, deploy, and manipulate image files and registry setting offline. Console changes have been made to take advantage of DeployAnywhere, Ghost’s HII capabilities, and DoD Wipe.
- Security Enhancements – Includes all security-related hot-fixes. It can limit job execution by container or security group.
- Safety Features – New features help prevent human error while using the DS Console.
- Remote Control for CE 6.0 Thin Clients.
- Compressed WinPE Boot Images - 40% smaller resulting in faster boots.
