Founded in 1936, Bank Vontobel AG is an independent Swiss private bank and international asset management specialist with headquarters in Zurich. The bank responded quickly to a circular put out by FINMA, the Swiss financial supervisory authority, requiring banks to keep records of all securities transactions and all related legal information―and to make this information available to FINMA as soon as possible on request. To meet these requirements, the bank opted for Symantec Enterprise Vault™, which has additional features that help Vontobel optimize its email and storage infrastructure.
