KUKA AG had two objectives, the company needed to load applications onto its remote-controlled machines fast, automatically and from a central point of administration. And, on the IT side, it wanted to optimize protection of its terminal equipment. It achieved both with software from Symantec. To load images it installed Ghost Solution Suite 2.5. To provide comprehensive protection for its terminal equipment, KUKA opted first for Symantec Antivirus and later on for Symantec Endpoint Protection 10.0. They are now subsequently upgrading to Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.0.
