The company also needed to replace its existing data protection solution, which was unreliable. Symantec had the answers with VERITAS Enterprise Vault and VERITAS Backup Exec. With the help of Symantec, Webcor lowered email management total cost of ownership by more than 25 percent—equating to $90,000 in savings—and reduced backup times by 55 percent while accommodating a 30 percent increase in backup volume.
