Symantec Security Information Manager Server Requirements:
Standard Intel-based x86_64 bit hardware that meets the following minimum system requirements:
- Dual core processor or better, 1.4 GHz or greater
- 4 GB of RAM minimum, 8 GB or greater recommended
- 250 GB of available disk space
- Hardware must be certified to run Red Hat™ Enterprise Linux 6.0 (x86_64-bit)
- System must have a network card that is supported on RHEL 6.0 (x86_64-bit)
Console Requirements:
- Windows 2003, XP Professional, Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 2008 R2 operating system
- Minimum screen resolution setting of 1024 x 768 (1280 x 1024 strongly recommended)
- Minimum RAM of 1 GB (>1 GB of RAM recommended)
- 150 MB of available disk space
- Connection to the same network as the Information Manager
