Note: You must purchase a Symantec SSL Certificate or Symantec Safe Site before installing the Norton Secured Seal.

Choose Your Seal

1. Select the language for the Verify link and verification page.
2. Select the size of the seal display.
3. Select display format.
4. Enter the website name.
Do not include http:// or https://. Enter the common name (CN) for which the SSL Certificate was issued. For example, if the common name is secure.verisign.com, enter secure.verisign.com.

If the common name is an IDN (such as www.青年奥运.com), please enter the corresponding punycode. IDN-punycode converter.

Create Your Seal Script

Click "I accept" to generate your script in the box below and copy it directly into your web page code.
(Emailing or copying the code into a word processor may result in errors.)

Check Your Seal

The Norton Secured Seal should display within 24 hours of installation and often will display within a couple of hours. Display of the seal is dependent on a clean malware scan.

  1. Open the updated pages in a browser.
  2. Make sure the seal appears as expected.
  3. Click the seal to check the verification page.
  4. Review the information to make sure it is correct.
