In 2007, the pharmaceutical group Guerbet, which employs 1,200 people at 23 sites around the world, decided to equip its endpoints with a global protection solution. The goal was to limit the autonomous actions of certain software programs, in particular to block the actions of spyware and malware. The solution chosen was Symantec Endpoint Protection. User-friendly and effective, this product provides protection of endpoints from a single administrator console. The contract was carried out with the assistance of the engineering consultants, PI Services―a Symantec Platinum partner. PI Services, is a specialist in enterprise infrastructure management and optimization, offering a broad range of services in support of both Symantec solutions and Microsoft platforms.
