Caution: Word documents may carry viruses

Only open email attachments that are expected and that come from a trusted source. Delete unsolicited messages without opening them.
Do not click Web links in email or in IMs sent by someone you do not know.
Use a comprehensive security solution, such as Norton Internet Security, that automatically scans attachments prior to opening and removes viruses and other malicious software.
Make sure the security solution you use can detect and remove viruses in email attachments and that it can detect macro viruses in Microsoft Word files.
