It makes the whole merging process very simple, basic just follow the instructions and in no time at all your partitions have been merged. May 07, 2009 -"If you only have one hard drive in your computer, Partition Magic will create separate partitions for your Operating System and your Applications and Data. Having worked with computers in one form or another for over 43 years, I highly recommend that everyone place the Operating System on a partition of its own and everything else on a separate partition. That way if your Operating System has problems, it can be restored without completely wiping out everything on the computer. Even if you have separate drives, you can still partition your drives for different uses, for example you could have separate partitions for Windows and Linux on both your system drive and your applications and data drive. I have used Partition Magic for nearly 15 years and have found it to be a most invaluable addition to my utilities."
