If you downloaded your Norton product from your service provider, read the document:

STEP 1
Delete temporary files
Run a tool to delete the temporary files.
STEP 2
Re-download and install your Norton product

Download your Norton product.
Save the file to the Windows desktop.

Norton Internet Security
•
Norton AntiVirus
•
Norton AntiVirus Classic
•
Norton AntiVirus Gaming Edition

Once the installation file is downloaded, double-click the file to start the installation.

Follow the on-screen instructions.
If the problem persists, go to Step 3.

Run Windows Updates

Click the Start button, and then click All Programs > Windows Update.
