SONAR Protection quarantines files that are already excluded from future scans in my Norton 2010 product


STEP 1
Download and run the hotfix

Download the fix tool.

Save the file to the Windows desktop.

On the Windows desktop, double-click the KB20090903182949EN file.

In the Open File - Security Warning window, click Run.

In the Norton Hotfix window, click Yes.

Accept the license agreement, and click OK.

Follow the on-screen instructions.

Restart your computer.

STEP 2
Restore the quarantined file

Start your Norton 2010 product.

In the Computer pane, click Quarantine.

From the list, locate and click the file that you want to restore.

In the right pane, under Recommended Action, click Options.

Click Restore this file.

In the Quarantine Restore window, make sure that Exclude this risk from future scans option is checked.

Click Yes.

After the file is restored, click Close.

In the Security History window, click Close.
