My Norton product stops functioning after I upgrade to Windows 7
If you cannot start your Norton product, or if you see any error message with your Norton product after the Windows 7 upgrade, we recommend that you uninstall and reinstall your Norton product. Download and run the Norton removal tool to uninstall your Norton product.

Go to your Norton Account.

Type in your email address and password for your Norton Account, then click Sign In.

Under Products, click Norton product.
Where Norton product is the name of your Norton product.

Write down the Product Key.

Sign out of your Norton Account, then continue with Step 2 below.

On the Windows desktop, double-click the Norton Removal Tool icon.

Follow the on-screen instructions.

Restart your computer.
The instructions to reinstall your Norton products will be provided after the computer restarts.
