Help with Norton 2009 product activation
Product activation protects you from pirated and counterfeit software. It limits the use of Norton programs to those who bought them legitimately. When you install your Norton 2009 product, you must use a unique product key to activate it. You can activate your Norton 2009 product during the installation, or after you install it. If you activate it after you install it, you must do so within a limited time, or your Norton 2009 product will not work.

Make sure that your computer is connected to Internet.

Start your Norton 2009 product.

At the right bottom corner of the Norton program window, click Activate Now.

Type the 25-character product key, and then click Next.

The product key can be found on a yellow sticker on the back of the CD envelope or in the confirmation email of your download purchase.

If your product came with your computer you may not have to enter the product key. You can skip this step.

In the Norton Account Window, enter your email address and click NEXT.
Your Norton 2009 product checks the existing Norton Accounts using the email address.

Do one of the following depending on your situation:

If your Norton 2009 product finds your Norton Account, enter the password and click SIGN IN.

If your Norton 2009 product does not find any existing Norton Account, complete the form and click NEXT.

Review your subscription details, and then click DONE.
Your copy of Norton 2009 product is now activated.
