What to do if you suspect that you have a threat when using a Norton 2009 product

Start your Norton program.

In the Computer pane, click Settings.

Next to Low Risks, move the slider towards left to Remove.

If the Early Load shows Off, click the status indicator to turn it On.

Click Apply, and then click OK.

Start your Norton program.

In the Computer pane, click Run LiveUpdate.

Click OK when LiveUpdate finishes installing all the updates.

Start your Norton program.

In the Computer pane, click Scan Now > Run Full System Scan.

Click Finish when the scan completes.
Exit all the programs and, then restart your computer.
