Symantec Developer Program

The Symantec Developer Program is a subscription-based program that provides SDKs, support services, and a developer community to help Symantec customers and partners leverage and integrate their software solutions with the Symantec Management Platform.

The Symantec Developer Program is comprised of two membership levels: Enterprise and Commercial.

Enterprise level is intended for Symantec customers and partners who want to extend or integrate functionality with Symantec products; these integrated solutions are intended for internal use only and not for resale. Enterprise partners are given free access to the Symantec ASDK for building limited command line (COM) and/or HTML integrations with Symantec products.
Commercial level is intended for independent software vendors (ISVs) and partners to develop commercial solutions, natively integrating with the Symantec Management Platform and/or directly with Symantec products. Partners sign a contract and pay for an annual subscription; the fee includes access to the Symantec SSDK, on-site consulting help, phone support, access to the Symantec Management Platform group on Symantec Connect and some marketing support.

which is a centralized source of content and resources, including the latest SDKs and documentation updates, a library of frequently asked questions, and supplementary sample code and documentation. This site is also home to our developer-oriented forums, enabling administrators and developers to post questions, review answers to common topics, share code and interact with peers.

Customer Service Offerings

A wide range of support, consulting, certification, and assistance options are available through the Symantec Developer Program. For partners interested in building solutions on the Symantec Management Platform, certification and marketing assistance programs are also available.
