Symantec Board Authorizes Stock Buyback
Cupertino, Calif. --November 24, 1997--The board of directors of Symantec Corporation (Nasdaq: SYMC) authorized the repurchase of up to 500,000 shares of Symantec common stock. The shares will be used for employee stock purchase programs and option grants. Symantec has approximately 56 million shares outstanding.
