Visual Numerics and Symantec Corporation Announce Bundling Agreement
HOUSTON, TX. --December 8, 1997— Visual Numerics, Inc., industry-leading developer of computational, visualization and Internet software solutions, and Symantec Corporation today announced an agreement to bundle JNL™ with Symantec's Visual Café for Java 2.0. JNL is the first commercially available numerical library for Java. Both the Professional Development Edition and Database Development Edition of Visual Café for Java 2.0 will include JNL. It offers numerical classes and data types required by developers for a variety of applications. JNL also includes classes for complex numbers, matrix and vector operations, and basic statistics. It is the only commercially available numerical library to have received 100% Pure JavaTM certification.
