Agreement bundles market-leading pcANYWHERE CE Remote Control with all NEC MobilePro700 H/PCs
Cupertino, Calif --April 1, 1998-- Symantec Corporation (Nasdaq:SYMC) announced today an agreement with NEC Computer Systems Division (NEC CSD), to include pcANYWHERE CE on NEC's MobilePro 700 line of handheld PCs. pcANYWHERE CE provides reliable, fast remote access to applications and files on any PC, workstation or server, and innovative viewing technologies, all capable on the NEC MobilePro 700 Handheld PC, a lightweight, touch typable e-mail and internet access and presentation device that weighs under 1.5 pounds.

pcANYWHERE CE is a Windows CE-based communications product which provides remote control and text transfer capabilities within a single user interface.
