Symantec Indicates First Quarter Results

CUPERTINO, Calif. - July 7, 1998 - Symantec Corporation's (Nasdaq: SYMC) earnings per share for the first quarter of fiscal year 1999, ended July 3, 1998, will be $0.40 before one-time charges. Revenues will be $153 million. Symantec will announce its quarterly results on Thursday, July 16, 1998 at 1:45 p.m. PDT.
