Symantec Indicates Second Quarter Results
CUPERTINO, Calif. - Oct. 6, 1998 -Symantec Corporation (Nasdaq:
SYMC) today announced it expects revenues for the quarter ended
October 2, 1998 to be approximately 10% below analysts' estimates.
Preliminary earnings per share for the second quarter of fiscal year
1999 are expected to be $0.18, before one-time charges.
