Symantec Completes Quarterdeck Acquisition
Cupertino, Calif,. - March 30, 1999 - Symantec Corporation
(Nasdaq:SYMC), today announced completion of the acquisition of Quarterdeck
Corporation (OTC:QDECK). A meeting of Quarterdeck's shareholders took place
March 29, 1999 where by stockholders unanimously approved the merger.
Quarterdeck is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Symantec.
This acquisition further enables us to provide our customers with best-of breed
