PC World Latin America Names Norton SystemWorks Best Utilities Suite

MIAMI, Florida October 13, 1999 - Symantec Corporation (Nasdaq: SYMC) today announced that Norton SystemWorks 2.0 was named Best Utilities Suite by PC World Latin America, one of the region's leading computer publications. Earlier this year, its parent magazine, PC World, also recognized Norton SystemWorks, awarding it the prestigious World Class Award for best utility software.
