Symantec Records More Than 500 Percent Increase In Revenue From Electronic Resellers In 1999
Symantec Gives Second Annual E-Commerce Partner Awards to Recognize Role of Electronic Resellers and Distributors in On-line Success

recently announced record increases in revenue from electronic resellers in 1999.

E-Commerce Partner Awards to three on-line partners whose sales performance
during 1999 contributed to the record increase in revenues for Symantec.

As the fastest growing and most productive Symantec on-line retail partner,
buy.com was presented the Electronic Reseller of the Year award. Digital River
was awarded the Electronic Distributor of the Year award for showing an ability
to successfully execute Symantec programs and promotions, as well as for
continuing to lead the way in electronic software distribution (ESD). Finally,
Symantec's partnership with Amazon.com was named Deal of the Year based on the
strong sales of Symantec products resulting from the launch of Amazon.comıs
software site in November 1999.
