Symantec Security Expert to Discuss E-Business Components and Best Practices at ISACA Spring Conference 2002
CUPERTINO, Calif. - March 21, 2002 - Symantec Corp. (Nasdaq: SYMC), the world leader in Internet security, today announced that Stephen Trilling will present at the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) Spring Conference 2002 at the University City Hilton hotel in Los Angeles.
Trilling, senior director, advanced concepts group, will present "Enterprise E-business Architecture" from 1:40 3:10 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26, 2002. In this presentation, Trilling will examine the various components of an e-business environment, including web servers, Internet access, web applications, back-end servers, and communications links. He will also explore best security practices, including policy and incident management.
At Symantec, Trilling currently oversees Symantec's advanced concepts group, a research and development division dedicated to studying new Internet security threats and creating technologies to protect computer systems. A leading expert on security issues, Trilling has appeared on numerous national broadcast programs including Nightline, The Today Show, The Early Show and NBC Nightly News, and has also testified before the United States Congress. Trilling earned a bachelor's degree in computer science and mathematics from Yale University, and a master's degree in computer science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
