Symantec Wins Five Secure Computing Awards
CUPERTINO, Calif. - April 25, 2002 - Symantec Corp. Symantec received awards for its intrusion detection, vulnerability management and anti-virus solutions. In the Principal Awards category, which is voted for worldwide and recommended by judges, Symantec Norton AntiVirus received the Best Security Software award. In the Reader Trust Awards category, voted for by the readers of Secure Computing, Symantec Enterprise Security Manager was awarded the Best General Security Product. In the Academy Awards category, which is decided by a panel of security experts, Symantec received three awards, including Best General Security Product for Symantec Enterprise Security Manager, Best Anti-Virus Solution for Symantec Norton AntiVirus Corporate Edition and Best Intrusion Solution for Symantec NetProwler.
