Symantec CFO to Speak at Leading Investor Conferences

CUPERTINO, Calif. - August 28, 2003 - Symantec Corp. (Nasdaq:SYMC), the world leader in Internet security, today announced that Greg Myers, Symantec CFO, will speak at the Smith Barney Citigroup Technology Conference at 8:45 a.m. EDT on Thursday, Sept. 4, at the Hilton New York in New York City. He will also speak at S.G. Cowen’s 31st Technology Conference at 8 a.m. EDT on Friday, Sept. 5, at the Marriott Copley Place Hotel in Boston.
