Softchoice Names Symantec Vendor of the Year
CUPERTINO, Calif. - Jan. 20, 2004 -
Symantec Corp. (Nasdaq:SYMC), the world leader in Internet security, today announced that Softchoice (TSX:SO) honored it as Vendor of the Year for 2003 at the Softchoice North American Sales Conference, which took place Jan. 9 – 11, in Niagara Falls, Ontario. Symantec also received the Best Training award.

Symantec was selected as Vendor of the Year by exceeding expectations in terms of support of Softchoice’s marketing programs, training initiatives, and sales and operation engagement. In addition, Symantec demonstrated operational excellence across all transactions with Softchoice from distribution to the quality and support of services and customer offerings.

Symantec also received the Best Training award for its excellence in the design of training sessions, including the creative programs to drive learning and for its ability to take material and make it relevant and actionable for Softchoice representatives.
